Where can I find the cell phone number of a person whose name or address I know?
Nowhere. All those by-name directories that you might have seen on the Internet simply don't work for cell phone lines. If you run across a website or service that claims to offer you an individual’s cell phone number simply by entering their name, they are either illegally obtaining this information or are a fraud. Getting a hold of an individual’s cell phone number may seem like a good idea, but the fact of the matter is that most individuals view this as an invasion of privacy.
How do reverse cell phone lookups work?
Reverse search technology is different. By using various methods (e.g. deep crawl) and a range of public and private sources, reverse lookup directories are collecting cell phone numbers into large databases. These databases contain phone numbers and names, addresses and other related information about the owners (e.g. their home value or average income). When you enter the number on our site, we will search all these databases trying to find a match for that number.
Is it true that I can trace any cell phone number?
It is false. Since there is no public directory for cell phone numbers and mobile carriers guard this info from prying eyes, there is not a single directory that can trace 100% of mobile phone numbers today.
How current are the data and is there a chance of getting outdated information?
We access a variety of different public records sources from our data partners. As you can imagine, some of the sources are courthouses, county and other government offices. These offices can be slow to update public information. In addition, cell phone numbers are known to be recycled by mobile carriers and some people change them all the time, so there is high probability that you might get old or outdated info about the phone number owner. Always, double check this info and do not jump to conclusions. Still, reverse directories are a good starting point in your search.
Is my search confidential?
Yes, no one is notified that you are using our services, including the person you are searching for.
Can I also search unlisted numbers?
Yes, you can search unlisted numbers. These are numbers that are not listed in the phone book, but are available from public records and other sources.
What identifying info is available via the reverse cell phone lookup?
This would be all available information which could include; first name, middle initial, last name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, age, date of birth, average yearly income and average house price.
Is there a service that I can use to run unlimited reverse phone lookups for one fee?
Yes, most reverse phone directories have annual subscription plans for unlimited phone searches. But these searches will ONLY work for landline and listed numbers - which you can search for free anyway with a public directory like White Pages. There is NO directory that will let you search and retrieve info about as many cell phone numbers as you wish for only one fee.
Can I search international cell phone numbers with one directory?
Most european countries have mobile 411 assistance directories, so you can find a website or a 411 phone number providing this info and access it for free. The U.S. and Canadian mobile numbers are not available anywhere for free and these are the ones most people are searching. In general, you will need to use a country specific directory to search cell phone numbers.
